Some 'self-help' options include:
- Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) - Detailed answers to many of the more
common questions we're asked. We recommend checking here first.
- Tours - Our 'tours' provide step-by-step overviews, usually with screenshots, of VIP Professional and many of its
features. If you are having problems understanding how a feature works, see if
there is a tour on that feature.
- VIP Professional Help System - The help system within VIP Professional contains a lot of useful information about the
program, any limitations and requirements, and so on. Just press F1 from within VIP Professional to open the help system.
Don't hesitate to contact us directly if the above options aren't sufficient.
Important: The more information you give us, the easier it is for us to assist you. Please try to provide as much of the following information as you can:
- The operating system you are running (ie, "Windows XP", or "Windows Vista").
- The version of VIP Professional you are using. This can be found on the log-in screen and the "About" dialog (available from the Help menu). The version looks
something like "2008 b441".
- A detailed description of the problem you've encountered, ideally including a precise list of the exact steps needed to reproduce the issue.
- If possible, a screen capture showing the problem. (How to do a screen capture)
#3 is particularly important for bug reports - if our developers can't reproduce the bug, they can't fix it!
Feature requests, bug reports, suggestions for new tours, etc. are all highly welcomed! We're actively working to ensure that
VIP Professional is, and remains, solid and reliable, and that it delivers incredible performance for its users. Your feedback is critical.
